In the USA, the Charlie’s Angels reboot will hit cinemas on November 15, 2019.

Fans in the UK have to wait a little while longer to see the Angels back on screen.

The UK release date for Charlie’s Angels is November 29, 2019.

Sony announced the franchise reboot in September 2015, at which point Elizabeth Banks was in talks to direct.

By July 2018, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska were announced as the Angels.

This was also when Banks was announced as one of many Bosleys throughout the movie.

In September of 2018, veteran star Patrick Stewart was cast as another Bosley, followed by Djimon Hounsou as the third Bosley.

The rest of the cast was rounded out in October 2018, though principal photography in September.

Charlie’s Angels was filmed on location in Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg, Germany, the Spice Bazaar, Veliefendi Race Course, and in Sultanahmet in Istanbul, Turkey.

Strictly speaking, the reboot is a continuation of the franchise, incorporating elements from the 1970s TV series and the 2000’s movies.

From the 2000s’ movies, Drew Barrymore has returned as an executive producer.

The producer of the original series and the previous films, Leonard Goldberg, also returned as well.

Charlie’s Angels is out in US cinemas on November 15, 2019, and UK cinemas on November 29, 2019.
