BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) – Argentina said on Friday that the Mercosur trade bloc clinched a “strategic association” trade deal with the European Union.
The deal was agreed in Brussels after more than 20 years of negotiations, the Argentine government said in a statement. The Mercosur trade bloc consists of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay.
