Love Island 2019: Who left Love Island tonight? Who was dumped?

Love Island 2019 viewers voted in their droves after Wednesday night’s episode (June 26) in order to prevent their favourite couple being dumped from the ITV2 show. This left the pairing of Danny Williams and Arabella Chi, along with Tom Walker and Maura Higgins at risk of leaving tonight and it was down to the rest of the Love Island cast to decide which two would go. Here’s who left Love Island and the dumped Islanders’ reactions to being voted off.

In emotional scenes, Danny watched as the girl who he dumped Yewande Biala for was sent home.

Meanwhile, despite the tension caused by him earlier in the day, Tom bid a tearful goodbye to Maura and the rest of the cast.

Speaking to ITV after being dumped, Arabella admitted she was “surprised” by the group’s decision.

Arabella said: “I knew that I was in danger because I was the newest islander. If there was one person they would miss the least it would be me.

“I was still surprised though. I think the boys thought the girls would choose Danny, because of the Yewande situation.

“I don’t know if Danny will stay now I’ve gone. That decision is with him. He was gutted when I left and said I had given him the best week of his life.

“It’s up to him though. If he does stay he might be scared of jeopardising things with us.”

HOW MANY WEEKS IS LOVE ISLAND 2019 ON FOR?

Tom was less subtle with his surprise, telling ITV his dumping was completely unexpected.

Maura’s former partner said: “I didn’t expect to go. We knew something was going to happen. Caroline hadn’t dropped in for a while.

“But I thought maybe some new guys were coming in. I didn’t see a dumping like that coming.

“I thought it was between me and Danny when it came to it.”

Despite their shock, both dumped Islanders admitted they’d love to go back in offered the chance.

Tom said: “Yeah, 100%. I was enjoying it and I wasn’t ready to leave.”

When asked if she’d entertain a return, Arabella simply said: “A million percent.”

HOW ARE TOMMY FURY AND TYSON FURY ACTUALLY RELATED?

While the pair’s departure will undoubtedly send shockwaves through the villa, the Islanders won’t have long before another bombshell comes their way.

Cast Amor returns in 2019 and the 12 singletons arriving on the island have already been revealed.

This year, the current girls will head to Casa Amor while the boys will remain in the main Love Island villa.

The full Casa Amor line-up is as follows:

Whether any of the existing couples will be split after Casa Amor remains to be seen.

Love Island 2019 continues at 9pm on weeknights and Sundays on ITV2.
