Ivanka Trump bares her legs in a casual tan coat dress as she leaves for Japan

Ivanka Trump wore a light brown coat dress as she was spotted leaving the White House with acting Chief of Staff Mick Mlvaney. In her role as a political advisor for the US President, Donald Trump, 73, Ivanka headed for the the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan. She kept her look casual in a coat dress which had three-quarter length sleeves and a oversized fit. The collarless coat was buttoned up from the top to the hem.

Ivanka she showed off her figure in the loose coat by wearing a large white belt around her waist.

The coat had big tan buttons down it with pockets on either side, which were fastened shut.

At the bottom, the skirt flared out into peplum style pleats.

The look cut off at the knee and Ivanka displayed her pins by leaving her legs bare.

She accessorised the look with a pair of white heels which had tan and black blocks of colour on the toe.

In her hand, the US President’s daughter carried a large white handbag with black stitching.

She wore her hair down and straight, styled into a middle parting.

The First Daughter wore a pair of large light brown aviator sunglasses as she boarded for Japan.

At the summit, the former model will meet one-on-one with counterparts from Turkey, Australia, Germany and India.

She is also planning to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier this week, Ivanka was seen looking stylish as she carried out other duties of her of Donald Trump’s advisor.

She opted for a classy fitted monochrome dress as she met with other advisors and the President at the White House. 

The look took inspiration from one she wore to attend the Trump rally in Orlando with her husband, Jared Kushner. 

Recently, she stepped out dressed for summer in a lovely blue tropical print dress to attend a ceremony in Washington.

The colourful dress had flute sleeves and a frilly collar.

Real name

Ivanka is not, in fact, her real name. She actually shares her mother’s name Ivana.

Explaining why she is known as Ivanka in a 2010 tweet, she said: “In Czech, Ivanka is the baby name for Ivana, like Bobby is to Robert.”

TV appearances

Ivanka was well known to the American public before her father became President thanks to appearances on TV.

She made short cameos on Project Runway and Gossip Girl, as well as becoming a primary boardroom member on The Apprentice with Donald.

Wedding

Ivanka married Jared Kushner on 25 October 2009 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, after a three month engagement.

Barron Trump served as ring bearer, as Ivanka wore a custom Vera Wang gown accessorised with diamonds from her fine jewellery collection.

Religion

Ivanka was raised as a Presbyterian Christian, but converted to Judaism to allow her to marry Jared Kushner.

Ivanka studied with Elie Weinstock from the Modern Orthodox Ramaz School, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.

She now keeps kosher and observes the Jewish Sabbath. Ivanka said in the February 2015 edition of Vogue: “We’re pretty observant… It’s been such a great life decision for me… I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.

“From Friday to Saturday we don’t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls.”

Career

Ivanka ran a fashion line for 11 years, only recently closing it down. She also had a fine jewellery store which closed in March 2017.

Ivanka now focuses on her role as an advisor to the President, Donald Trump.
