Nicole Scherzinger took to Instagram today to share a sizzling set of bikini snaps as she reflects on her life with “gratitude and voluptuous celebration” ahead of her upcoming birthday.
The singer, who turns 41 on Saturday, posed for the pictures in Capri where she is currently soaking up the sun in the rugged landscape.
The former X Factor judge stripped off to reveal her phenomenal figure in a bold purple bikini, in a sunny snap captioned simply: “grateful”.
The stylish two-piece showcased her toned legs and enviable washboard abs as she made the most of the Italian sunshine.
Nicole could be seen striking a pose on a rock in a beautiful cove with her arms in her long raven hair.
Donning a straw sun hat, a second picture captured her standing up and showing off the her gym-honed body.
In an earlier post, the singer reflected on “another year around the sun” and admitted: “I’m grateful for the body I’ve worked so hard for in the gym”.
She spoke about her struggles with her weight and image and how she had decided to embrace herself and her body.
She wrote: “I have struggled with my weight and image my whole life and I still do, but I’m just realizing as the moons go by to take it easier on myself. Life is too short.”
Nicole continued: “I realized I’m too grown up and need to not to be so hard on myself, I have to choose to embrace me and my body through all of its stages and seasons!”
“This season I’m grateful for the body I’ve worked so hard for in the gym.”
Nicole, who described Italy as one of her favourite places, has been staying on the beautiful island in the Bay of Naples for a week according to her Instagram account.
This follows a stint in Sydney to film the new series of Australia’s Got Talent.
