London Kills: Jacob Holt ‘s major downfall revealed as star drops big spoiler

London Kills returns to BBC One this afternoon and viewers will tune in to see episode two of five.

During the instalment, the opening scene finds a man who has been struck down on his stag night.

And it is the job of the Metropolitan Police specialist murder squad to find out who committed the crime.

However, along the way several disturbing secrets are exposed about the victim – but who wanted him dead?

Express.co.uk spoke exclusively to Dean Andrews, who plays Jacob Holt, a main suspect in the crime thriller about his time on the show.

During the interview Dean revealed the reason why he wanted to take part in the show and divulge a flaw his character has.

“I think one of the reasons why I wanted to be part of it was because of the individual stories,” the Emmerdale actor explained.

“You have an arc throughout that story, the character was good, he cared about his kids and things, a little bit too much perhaps.”

Dean also discussed the moment he got the script and said: “I like not to know where the character is going in particular, just so I can play the truth thats right on the page there and then.

“I try not to find out about things like that. I’ve done that on a few jobs before, just so you can play it absolutely truthful, with what they want at that moment in time and what the writer requires from the actor.”

There are several familiar faces viewers may recognise in the series and Dean spoke about working with an all-star cast.

“It was nice!” he began. “Ive not met Hugo or Sharon before, they were both lovely. It was a nice gig, I liked the director and the producers have done good stuff in the past.”

As for what’s in store for the following episodes, tomorrow night will see another man found death in another woman’s bed.

Following a period of infidelity, a woman is being menaced and elicit help traces a suspect in order to solve the mystery.

For the penultimate episode, the police are having to solve a case regarding a woman’s body being washed-up on the banks of the Thames.

But viewers will be surprised to learn there is not just one victim, but two following after a sleazy website dropped vital clues.

Concluding the series on Friday will be episode five which stars Ross Boatman as Graham Evans.

However, the murder squad are left feeling a little uncomfortable when a victim is struck within close proximity.

The synopsis suggests a familiar face proves gravely dangerous while the manipulative murder is still on the loose.

London Kills airs everyday this week with the final episode on Friday at 1:45pm on BBC One.
