Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt tied the knot in 2000 after two years of dating.
Their marriage came to an end five years later, and following their split, Brad began dating Angelina Jolie.
Shortly after, Jennifer, 50, was said to be “heartbroken” when the news about Angelina, 44, and Brad, 55, expecting their first biological child together emerged.
During a post-divorce interview with Vanity Fair, the pregnancy reportedly hit the Friends star hard and she was said to have broken down over the news.
In 2006, Jennifer done a tell-all interview with the publication about her marriage.
In the article, the interviewer, Leslie Bennetts, said: “When I ask Aniston about that [the pregnancy rumours], she looks as if I’ve stabbed her in the heart.
“Her eyes well up and spill over.”
They continued: “Several long minutes go by as the tears keep rolling down her cheeks; she bites her lip, seemingly unable to speak.
“Finally she shakes her head; this subject is simply too excruciating to discuss.”
Jennifer’s pal, Kristin Hahn, said at the time: “My worst fear is that Jen will have to face them having a baby together soon, because that would be beyond beyond painful.”
Angelina gave birth to Shiloh in May 2006, and she and Brad went on to have twins Knox and Vivienne, two years later.
Brad also adopted Angelina’s children, Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, and Zahara, 14.
Angelina and Brad’s divorce proceedings began three years ago but the couple have yet to complete it.
Earlier this month, it was reported Brad had given his Mr and Mrs Smith co-star an “ultimatum” to sign the papers after stalling the process.
According to The Sun, Brad asked his lawyers to get a judge to impose a final date or Angelina will face being fined if the delays continue.
A source told the publication: “He has been incredibly patient throughout the divorce process despite being pushed to his limits on many occasions.
“But he’s finally had enough, and while he is a relatively calm person, he can only be pushed so far.
“He’s sick and tired of Ange constantly moving the goal posts and stalling their divorce month after month — painfully dragging out the process which he now feels has become almost a game for Angelina.”
Meanwhile, Brad made an appearance at Jennifer’s 50th birthday party back in February.
Brad appeared to attempt to go incognito on the night as he wore a flat cap to the celebrations.
