Avengers Endgame re-release: Here’s when tickets go on sale for EXTENDED edition

Next week Spider-Man Far From Home hits cinemas. However, before that Marvel fans are in for a treat this week. Presumably, to aid its mission to top Avatar as the highest grossing movie of all time, Avengers Endgame is being re-released this Friday, June 28 worldwide as an extended edition. Not quite a new director’s cut, but the film is followed by bonus content after the credits, bringing the runtime to a whopping 188 minutes. And now ticket info has been revealed.

Express.co.uk asked Cineworld when tickets of the Avengers Endgame re-release would go on sale.

The UK cinema chain revealed that fans can book from around 6pm on Tuesday evening.

Odeon and Vue were also contacted although they said they didn’t have the information at that time.

Nevertheless, presumably, they will also allow bookings from a similar time to Cineworld.

Meanwhile, Cineworld and the Vue app already have pages set up for the re-release, with the latter calling it, “Avengers: Endgame + Bonus Content.”

So what exactly is going to be shown? Well, Marvel boss Kevin Feige has shared a teaser with fans.

The producer told Screen Rant: “Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theatres with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie.

“If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”

It’s rumoured the tribute will be for late Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee, who cameoed in every MCU movie to date.

With Avengers Endgame just $38 million from topping Avatar, it’s likely this re-release will give the epic just enough of an extra push to make a new record.

No doubt, Spider-Man Far From Home’s release next week will also help.

Avengers Endgame is re-released in UK cinemas on June 28 and will be followed by Spider-Man Far From Home on July 2.
