Toy Story 4 end credits scenes: How many scenes are there in the credits? It's a LOT

The Disney/Pixar movie arrives in cinemas this weekend on a wave of hugely positive reviews.

The sequel has also been given an A grade by audiences on CinemaScore to sit alongside its glowing 97% mark on Rotten Tomatoes.

Toy Story movies often have treats waiting for audiences in the credits – be they bonus scenes, or improvised bloopers.

Toy Story 4 is no different: and in fact there are multiple tags for fans to enjoy.

This film has no less than five credits scenes: four of them are intercut with the actual credits, and one of them is a post credits stinger.

So what do they entail? WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Toy Story 4.

The first three are about Woody’s new life; illustrating how he, Bo and their new friends are adapting to life at the carnival.

The very first one shows Woody and Bo rigging the game so that the kids definitely win toys as prizes, and the second reveals that they’ve successfully found new kids for all of the toys.

The third scene is another hilarious moment for Ducky and Bunny; another fantasy sequence that builds on the one from earlier in the film.

In the fourth and final scene that is intercut with the main credits, we see echoes of the earlier beat in which Woody introduced Forky to the other toys.

But this time, it’s Jessie introducing everyone to another DIY toy of the same ilk as Forky – and she, like Forky, thinks she’s destined for the trash.

The post-credits tag is a callback to one of the best gags earlier in the film, with Duke Caboom taking the place of the Pixar lamp in that iconic ident sequence.

Then, the Combat Carl who was snubbed for a high-five by Woody appears, and Duke happily obliges – leaving him happy at finally having got his high-five.

Toy Story 4 is believed to be the final movie in the franchise, although there is clearly scope for future low-key spin-offs.

The film ended with Buzz, Jessie et al going home with Bonnie, leaving Woody to enjoy his new life in the wild with Bo.

Toy Story 4 is out now.
