Neymar: PSG star accepts three Barcelona transfer demands amid Real Madrid interest

Neymar could leave PSG this summer, with Barcelona and Real Madrid both linked with the Brazil international.

The Samba star had the door to a sensational exit opened by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelifi earlier this week, with the club chief saying: “I want players willing to give everything for the shirt, the club and join for the project.

“Those who do not want that, or do not understand, we will see each other and talk.

“Of course, there are contracts to be respected, but the priority now is total commitment to the project.

“Nobody forced Neymar to sign for us. Nobody pushed him here. He knowingly signed up for this project.”

And Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte say Neymar has accepted three demands from Barcelona as a transfer edges closer.

It is said that he has been asked to withdraw his claim against Barcelona’s decision to stop a loyalty bonus.

When Neymar left two years ago for PSG, he was entitled to additional money.

But the Catalan giants refused to pay it and they want Neymar to accept the matter, in something he has supposedly agreed to do.

Additionally, Neymar has also agreed to lower his salary.

Barcelona do not have the same financial wealth as PSG and, if the Brazilian is to make a sensational return, he will have to take a pay cut.

And UOL Esporte claim that Neymar has also agreed to publicly admit he made a mistake in leaving and now wants to return.

Barcelona seemingly hope public pressure will force PSG into letting their talisman go.

Meanwhile, ESPN pundit Steve Nicol believes Neymar would flourish back at Barcelona – because of Lionel Messi.

“I think for Neymar it would be perfect,” he said.

“It seems to be that the only place he can be the player we think he can be is Barcelona.

“That’s because of Messi, it seems like Messi is the only guy who can keep this guy in check.

“You could argue that Zinedine Zidane could at Real Madrid, but we know for a fact that Messi is the guy who could not only help Neymar on the field, but clearly help the guy off the field as well.”

Real Madrid have also long dreamed of signing Neymar.

But the PSG star prefers a move to Barcelona instead, despite the controversial nature of his exit two years ago.
