Love Island: Is Love Island on tonight? Does it air on Saturdays?

Love Island is nearly into its fourth week and fans of the reality series can’t get enough of all of the drama. Last night, Yewande tried to win over Danny but new girl Arabella was not backing down. The episode ended with the new arrivals having a very heated discussion about Yewande’s new found affection for Danny ever since Arabella set foot in the villa. So will viewers find out what will happen between the two tonight?

Is Love Island on tonight?

Yes, Love Island is on tonight (Saturday, June 22).

The episode will air at 9pm on ITV2, finishing at 10:05pm.

However, tonight’s episode will not be the normal edition of Love Island that viewers tune into on weeknights and Sunday evenings.

Instead, tonight’s episode is a compilation of exclusive unseen footage of the Islanders throughout the week.

This means fans of the show will get to see what the Islanders get up to a daily basis and will showcase some hilarious moments between the Islanders.

Comedian Iain Stirling continues to fulfil his Love island narrating duties on Love Island: Unseen Bits.

Does Love Island air on Saturdays?

Yes, Love Island does air every Saturday on ITV2.

However, the episode is the reality series sister show, Love Island: Unseen Bits.

Love Island: Unseen Bits only ever airs on Saturdays and tonight is the third episode of the spin-off show.

On Saturdays, Love Island: Unseen Bits airs because contestants are given an entire day break from filming, meaning there is not enough content to air seven normal episodes of Love Island.

Former contestant Chris Williamson revealed on his podcast: “Once a week we were allowed to leave the villa and weren’t filmed so none of the viewers would ever know.

“There was a day every week when the footage wasn’t needed, which was liberating as you could talk about anything.”

Normal episodes of Love Island resume on Sundays at 9pm on the channel, followed by Love Island: Aftersun at 10pm.

Love Island: Aftersun is hosted by Caroline Flack and features former Islanders, comedians and other famous faces.
