16:15 UPDATE: United set to seal AWB

Manchester United are set to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the next 48 hours.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim the Red Devils will pay a bumper £60million for the 21-year-old talent.

It’s believed representatives from both parties are scheduled to meet for formal talks over the next two days.

The Daily Mail add that the ‘finer details’ of the transfer will be discussed in the meeting and that a deal should be concluded barring any unforeseen hitches.

16:00 UPDATE: Liverpool transfer hint

Jurgen Klopp has appeared to suggest that he will spend big this summer in an attempt to keep up with his Premier League rivals.

The Reds spent over £150million last summer, just months after paying £75m for Virgil van Dijk.

And a quiet transfer window had been expected for Klopp but the manager has now admitted he may need to spend to keep up with City.

“Liverpool is an ambitious club and if we didn’t spend the same amount of money as others, we wouldn’t be able to compete,” Klopp told German broadcaster ZDF. “Everybody’s splashing the cash, so we have to do the same.”

15:45 UPDATE: Arsenal meeting planned

Arsenal chiefs are set to meet Torino and Italy defender Armando Izzo ahead of a proposed transfer.

The 27-year-old has impressed for the Turin club since joining from Genoa last year.

And Italian outlet Tuttomercato have claimed that Izzo’s agent Paolo Palermo has been in contact with the club ahead of a proposed deal, with the plan to begin negotiations shortly.

However, Torino are not keen on the idea of letting one of their key players go, and will ask for a hefty transfer fee.

15:30 UPDATE: Reds end Bruno Fernandes interest

Liverpool will not be making a move for Bruno Fernandes this summer although they have recently been in transfer talks with Sporting CP.

Liverpool have been in discussions with Portuguese outfit Sporting of late but regarding Reds youngster Rafael Camacho.

The Evening Standard claim that talks between Liverpool and Camacho have failed with just one year left on his contract and Sporting are confident of landing the player this summer.

But with the two clubs in talks, a deal for Fernandes has not been discussed, the report adds.
