Division 2 DOWN: Server status latest and patch notes news for PS4, Xbox One

Division 2 is going down today with Ubisoft taking PS4, Xbox One and PC servers offline for three hours.

Division 2 fans will see servers go down from 1pm BST today – for those in other regions downtime starts at 2pm CEST, 8am eastern and 5am pacific time.

It had originally been scheduled that Division 2 server downtime was going to take place at 8.30am BST on Thursday June 20.

But, Ubisoft later decided to postpone the Division 2 downtime till later today.

The official Division 2 Twitter revealed the news yesterday with a blog post going into more detail about it.

The post revealed that patch notes for the incoming Division 2 update will be revealed after downtime begins.

Community manager Ubi-Johan wrote: “The maintenance has been postponed, see below for new times.

“The servers will shut down for maintenance Thursday, June 20th 14:00 AM CEST / 08:00 AM EDT / 5:00 AM PDT. Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.

“Patch notes will become available during the downtime.”

The latest server downtime comes hot on the heels of maintenance that took place on Tuesday June 18 for the release of title update 4.

This update added the Gunner class, which can be unlocked by completing a Special Field Research assignment.

The Gunner is said to employ new tactics like the Banshee special and Riot Foam grenades.

Patch notes or Division 2 title update 4 can be read in full by clicking here.

But here’s what it says about the mew Gunner specialisation: “Introducing the first post-launch Specialization! The Gunner is equipped with a powerful minigun and will serve as the vanguard for SHD agents.

“To unlock the Specialization when Title Update 4 hits the live servers, you’ll be tasked to complete five stages of in-game challenges!

“Year One Pass owners will unlock the Specialization immediately but will also be able to go on a Special Field Research, unlocking unique cosmetic rewards!”
