Brightburn features Guardians of the Galaxy auteur James Gunn as a producer. Gunn’s brother Brian and his cousin Mark wrote the script for the sci-fi horror film. Director David Yarovesky worked previously with Gunn on 2014’s Guardians film, as well as The Hive which starred Gunn’s brother Sean.
