Charlie Frederick, 23, was unimpressed when he discovered his ex Arabella Chi, 28, would be making an entrance into the Love Island 2019 villa. The former Islander also dated Lucie Donlan, 21, before she appeared on this year’s ITV2 show. Charlie took to Instagram to air his frustrations about his former flames taking part in the reality TV series. In view of his 300,000 followers, the model lashed out at the programme, writing: “WOW @LoveIsland you wanna have my f*****g life any more?
“Both my exes in the villa f*****g madness.”
The reality star also took the opportunity to speak out about Arabella, who is set to make her first appearance on the show tonight.
Commenting underneath a photo posted by his former love interest’s team on Instagram, he implied the blonde beauty is “sly”.
The snap in question shared the announcement about Arabella’s stint in the villa with the caption: “The Secret Is Out, My Girl Has Been Tanning It Up In Majorca The Past Week,
“I’m So Excited For Her To Get Into The Villa.”
In response, Charlie hit back: “SECRETS OUT YEAH! F*****g sly as f**k.”
Earlier this month, Charlie didn’t hold back while discussing his relationship with surfer Lucie.
The TV personality divulged to MailOnline: “[She’s] most definitely not looking for love! She’s only 21. I hope she’s going in there with the right intentions.
“She’ll get a couple of Instagram followers on the way, if you know what I mean. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to get the Z-list fame.”
Lucie, who was coupled up with Joe Garratt, 22, before he was dumped from the Island this week, also spoke out about her romance with Charlie.
During an interview with Cosmopolitan before she entered the villa, she admitted: “The last guy I was with was Charlie [Frederick] from last year’s Love Island. We got together a few weeks after he came out of the villa.
“Yeah, we’d definitely still speak to each other if we saw each other but I don’t think we match dating-wise and he’s a little bit old for me so we want different things.”
The star concluded: ”If I see him, I’ll speak to him but it kind of fizzled out because he lived where he lived and I live where I live. We had some really nice times together so it’s a shame that it ended really.”
Arabella is expected to stir up some drama when she joins the other Islanders in tonight’s episode.
The model came face to face with her ex-boyfriend’s ex Lucie when she first arrived and joked about “stalking” her on social media.
She also revealed she is interested in getting to know Michael Griffiths, 27, and Danny Williams, 21, who are both already coupled up on the show.
