16:45 UPDATE: Luis Enrique steps down

Luis Enrique has stepped down as head coach of Spain after just 11 months in the job.

The 49-year-old, appointed last July, had not coached La Roja since March due to a personal issue.

Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president Luis Rubiales announced Enrique’s departure at a press conference, with assistant coach Robert Moreno set to replace him.

“Luis Enrique has announced that he will not continue as coach,” said Rubiales. “I have to thank Luis Enrique. The doors of the federation and the national team will remain open to him.”

16:30 UPDATE: Antoine Griezmann to Liverpool backed

Liverpool should go all out to sign Antoine Griezmann this summer as he would help bridge the gap to Manchester City, says Craig Burley.

Barcelona are heavily linked with the France international’s signature but their president Josep Maria Bartomeu says no contact has been made with Atletico.

“I still think that Antoine Griezmann would be a fantastic addition to Liverpool,” Burley said. “Bearing in mind how well they did last year and how close they came to Manchester City.

“The quality that he would bring and to have somebody that can rotate with [Roberto] Firmino in that front three would be a fantastic addition.”

16:15 UPDATE: Man Utd plot third offer

Manchester United are working on a THIRD bid for Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Red Devils have seen their opening two offers for Wan-Bissaka rejected – but Ed Woodward and the United hierarchy have a plan.

The Evening Standard claim United are prepared to offer an improved offer in the region of £45million with a further £5m in add-ons.

It’s claimed the Old Trafford club are relaxed with the increased fee because they are confident of making £10m from the sale of Matteo Darmian.

16:00 UPDATE: Joachim Andersen talks

Arsenal target Joachim Andersen has confirmed his agent is locked in discussions with several clubs about a summer transfer.

The Sampdoria defender, 23, has been linked with a host of European heavyweights including Arsenal, Tottenham and Lyon.

“It could be time for me to further my career,” he told Goal. “I have loved my time in Sampdoria – the fans, the president, the staff, the players, the city – but maybe it’s time to move on to develop further.

“There are a number of interested clubs from Europe’s biggest leagues who are discussing with my agent and I’ll be making a decision shortly together with my family and my agent.”

15:45 UPDATE: Rafael Camacho exit

Liverpool have opened talks with Sporting Lisbon over a deal for teenager Rafael Camacho.

That’s according to the Evening Standard, who claim the talented youngster could return to his boyhood club.

Winger Camacho, 19, wants regular first-team action and is reluctant to commit to a new contract at Anfield.

Camacho has been used as a right-back by Jurgen Klopp during his only two appearances for the senior side – which he publicly labelled a ‘mistake’.

15:30 UPDATE: Aubameyang to Man Utd

Manchester United would have to offer at least £100million to get Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, says Jason Cundy.

Cundy was working alongside talkSPORT presenter Andy Goldstein on Monday night.

Goldstein revealed he has heard Manchester United are keen on signing Aubameyang this summer and a £70m offer is in the pipeline.

Cundy says that would not be enough money for Arsenal to let go their top scorer from last season.

“I would say, Aubameyang, there’s got to be three figures there, it’s got to be £100m,” Cundy said. “£70m? That’s not going to get him, no, that’s not going to get him.”
