Spider-Man Far From Home post-credits scene: Is there an end credits scene?

Spider-Man Far From Home has premiered and reactions are popping up on Twitter. To say they are positive is an understatement, with some calling Tom Holland the best Peter Parker to date. There are still two weeks before the movie hits cinemas worldwide, and fans have a lot of questions.

Does Spider-Man Far From Home have a post-credits scene?

Yes, and according to one journalist who attended the premiere, it’s worth sticking around for.

Erik Davis of Fandango wrote: “Spider-Man Far From Home is funny, exciting, romantic, goofy & follows HOMECOMING in being this brilliant ground-level look at Spidey’s world & how the events of Avengers: Endgame impacted everyday life.

“Lots of twists & turns, plus some adorable summer romances, too. I’m a big fan

“Everyone in the film shines, but the chemistry between Peter and MJ is undeniable & honestly tops the other versions we’ve seen of this friendship.

“Their journey in this film is so rewarding & cute & surprising & I adore them. You will too.

“Also, yes, of course stay for the credits. And while I will say nothing of what you will see, staying for the credits has never been as important & eventful as it is for this particular film. So don’t go anywhere!”

Another writer for entertainment site Nuke The Fridge wrote: “The end credits scenes blow my mind. LOVED IT!!”

A fan named Linda wrote: “Spider-Man Homecoming has the best post-credits scene.”

Frazier Thrope of Complex wrote: “Wildest post-credits scenes in an MCU movie in maybe five years. And Jake G is the unmitigated GOAT [greatest of all time].”

Some fans are already looking for spoilers of the post-credits scene on Reddit.

Others are speculating as to what the scene might be, perhaps hoping for a nudge in the right direction by those who have already seen Far From Home.

Reactions to the film have been overwhelmingly positive so far.

Uproxx said: “Absolutely loved SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME. I’m a huge Mysterio fan and Gyllenhaal nails him. Also, the movie is very clever (and funny) how it handles the fallout post ENDGAME in explaining how this world works now.”

Kevin McCarthy posted: “FAR FROM HOME has dethroned Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 & is now favourite Spider-Man film. What’s insane is that I can’t even tell u why I’m so in love with this film because it would be a spoiler. Gyllenhaal is incredible. Holland re-confirms as the best Spidey to date. Amazing.”

Sean Keane at CNET Tweeted: “I saw Spider-Man: Far From Home last night – it’s pretty much the perfect Avengers: Endgame epilogue – reminding us that the MCU goes on in a joyous, emotionally fulfilling ride.”

Mike Cecchini at Den of Geek wrote: “Spider-Man Far From Home is both a great follow up to Avengers: Endgame and a solid Spider-Man story in its own right. It’s funnier and more visually adventurous than Homecoming, with another killer soundtrack. Make sure you avoid the hell out of spoilers!”

Spider-Man Far From Home is out in cinemas on July 2, 2019.
