Kate Middleton wore a blue dress from Elie Saab yesterday at Royal Ascot 2019.
The gown was a custom design inspired by a ready-to-wear resort collection dress.
Elie Saab gowns sell from between £2,220 to £5,000 on Net-a-Porter.
However, her gorgeous gown wasn’t the only think eagle-eyed fans noticed.
In fact some have claimed they believe Kate Middleton is pregnant as she was touching her stomach at the event.
“If Kate pregnant? Hand in belly!!! I hope she is,” one Twitter user wrote (sic).
Another said: “Maybe Kate’s pregnant?”
However, another was sceptical: “Everyone always thinks Kate’s pregnant when she touches her stomach but guys…she literally always does that.”
Pregnant women do sometimes rest their hands on their stomachs, however, expert body language analyst told Express.co.uk she had a different view.
“For many women a gesture like this on the lower stomach can signal the kind of bump-cupping rituals that can be used throughout a pregnancy,” Judi explained.
“For Kate though, things are not that simple or direct.
“Kate’s signature hand clasp or clutch bag carrying poses do often include this kind of a gesture so this wouldn’t be unusual for her.
“What is interesting is that when she chatted with Eugenie at Ascot both women seemed to be producing and mirroring this pose, which might hint at a new pregnancy in the royal family although possibly not for Kate.”
Could it be that good news has been announced by a different royal?
Jack Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie, 29, married in October last year.
However, there has been no indication the couple are trying for or expecting a baby currently.
Royal fans will have to wait for any exciting announcements from the palace.
Twitter users also speculated about a feud between Kate Middleton and Queen Letizia.
Some believed there was tension between the pair and took to Twitter to air the theory.
One wrote: “What did Letizia ever done to Kate? Last time they visited she did the same, ignored her at the State Dinner and put on a grumpy face all night. She was rude not to curtsy.” (sic)
Another said: “Watch the body language – Kate doesn’t even acknowledge Letizia,” and one wrote: “(Letizia) has done nothing wrong it’s just Kate who has been disrespectful here.”
