Sophie Countess of Wessex looked every part the royal in a stunning floral inspired look.
She was styled to perfection, with a hat that perfectly matched the dress.
The wife brimmed boater was lined with the same material as the dress in a very stylish touch.
With a funnel neck and elbow-length sleeves, the gown was a glamorous throwback with a modern edge.
In terms of her jewellery, the Countess wore drop diamond and pearl earrings. A delicate diamond bracelet wrapped around her right wrist, while on her left was a the Ronde Solo de Cartier watch, which costs £3,200.
She held a pale pink clutch bag in one hand.
One fan gushed over the Countess of Wessex and write: “The Countess of Wessex at Royal Ascot 2019. Perfect!”
However, another noticed Sophie’s accessories were a little out of character.
They said: “May I say that Sophie’s hat appears to be a bit restrained – she usually opts for dramatic millinery choices at Royal Ascot.”
Another wrote: “Sophie has had a revolution these last few years, although some recent modern styles have let her down.”
It wasn’t clear if they were discussing this outfit.

Kate’s dress, which is by Elie Saab, featured a sheer lace detail on the top, with a simple cami seen underneath the overlay.
The long skirt came down to Kate’s ankles, and was given a romantic edge with studded net which shimmered in the daylight.
Mum-of-three Kate kept her makeup simple, opting for a sweep of peach blusher, mascara and nude lips.
