Pixel 3a was unwrapped by Google last month; the hardware bears many premium features but makes a number of notable compromises in order to achieve its more appealing price tag.
One of the most appealing aspects about the Pixel 3a is the fact it touts the same 12.2-megapixel rear camera as its more premium brothers, the standard Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
That means the budget device is capable of capturing incredible shots in day and low-light conditions.
Pixel 3a also comes with a 5.6-inch OLED screen, a 3,000mAh battery and a mid-tier processor in the form of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670.
Although the Pixel 3a is still a very new device, Google is already making it more tantalising by offering a free Google Home Mini to anyone that purchases one.
The Google Home Mini has a £49 value in its own right and is an incredibly useful smart speaker.

This comes as the budget handset has just achieved a notable victory.
That is because 9to5Google recently noticed the Pixel 3a was listed as being the best selling unlocked smartphone on Amazon’s US site, exhibiting its popularity since launch.
On the retail giant’s American page there is a tab that lists “best sellers” – heading into this section and navigating to “unlocked cell phones” showcases the Pixel 3a as the top choice.
The Pixel 3a was shown to be more popular than cheaper devices from Samsung, Moto and Xiaomi.
As noted by 9to5Google, it is currently unclear if the top place has been awarded to the hardware based on sales numbers for the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL combined or just the former.
At the time of writing, Pixel 3a has received 57 reviews on Amazon’s US site, the majority of which have praised the handset for its camera, screen and battery life.
