On hearing that one of the Gallagher brother’s would come into the studio one listener phoned in and was “dying to know why Noel Gallagher doesn’t have to show any ID when he goes through reception.” Chris responded enthusiastically by saying: “So am I.” The Virgin Radio host was eager to know if Noel or his brother Liam would need to use ID.
The topic of conversation turned to wondering whether Liam Gallagher has to show ID, and the team also pondered whether Paul Weller needed to show identification as well.
Then Chris announced the bombshell that Liam Gallagher would be on the Virgin Radio show on Tuesday morning.
This lead to speculation as to whether they would tell Liam Gallagher that his brother Noel does not have to use ID when visiting Virgin Radio.
Chris said: “By the way we can’t tell Liam that Noel doesn’t need ID.

“Maybe it is to do with how people look, because you are so recognisable as Noel Gallagher.
“Well, there is Paul McCartney.
“There is Barry Manilow for heaven’s sake swell, there are other people too.”
Chris Evans is very open and honest about his life on the radio show.
He has made many shock admissions about his habits on previous shows.
He once admitted to never using soap.
Chris told listeners: “You don’t need soap. You don’t need soap!
“I used to have a massive skin issue when I was younger and the doctor just said ‘don’t use soap ever again in your life’.
“Never use soap.
“Vassos, you’ve been working with me for 10 years.
“Tell me the truth.
“Has it ever been an issue?”
Vassos said: “I, honestly, until this morning did not know that you didn’t use soap.”
Chris joked: “But you just wondered what the smell was anyhow?”
Vassos quipped: “I suspected.”
