Apple's latest MacBook deal is good but there's another offer that's even better.

Apple’s MacBook remains a hugely popular laptop but it’s also a pretty pricy device to buy.

Even the cheapest MacBook Air will still set you back over £760 and a new Pro model can easily push through the £2,000 barrier.

However, if you want to invest a new MacBook there are some decent deals available right now which make owning one of these portable PCs a lot more affordable.

Apple is currently offering fans the chance to spread the cost of a new MacBook over 12 months with no interest to pay.

This means you can buy a £1,000 computer and pay just £83.25 per month over a year.

The US technology firm says this deal is available until August 8.

If that sounds enticing then there’s another offer that’s even better.

John Lewis has launched a promotion which gives Apple fans the chance to spread the cost of a new MacBook over 18 months.

This means you can pick up a 15-inch 2019 MacBook Pro (£2,349) and pay just £117.45 per month plus a 10 per cent deposit.

This interest-free payment option is available on all Macs and also some iPhones with John Lewis saying the deal ends on June 29.

These deals come as Apple recently announced some refreshed MacBooks.

The popular MacBook Pro has just received a major reboot which now makes it the fastest Mac notebook the US technology firm has ever made.

Apple’s updated machines now include improved 8th and 9th generation Intel Core processors, bringing eight cores to the MacBook Pro for the first time.

This means the Pro now delivers two times faster performance than a quad-core MacBook Pro and 40 per cent more performance than a 6-core MacBook Pro.

Speaking about the update Tom Boger, Apple’s senior director of Mac Product Marketing said: “Whether it’s college students mastering a course of study, developers building world-class apps or video editors creating feature films, we’re constantly amazed at what our customers do with their MacBook Pro.

“Now with 8-core processors for an incredible performance boost, along with its stunning Retina display, fast storage, all-day battery life and running macOS, MacBook Pro continues to be the world’s best pro notebook and we can’t wait to get it into our customer’s hands to see what they do next.”
