What will happen in Killing Eve season 2?

Fans of the thriller series know that from the trailer, Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer) survived after Eve (Sandra Oh) stabbed her at the end of season one.

The first episode picks up exactly 36 seconds after the attack and judging by the trailer, Villanelle makes her way to the hospital.

Eve, on the other hand, does not know if Villanelle has survived the attack.

The synopsis for the first episode reads: “Eve (played by Sandra Oh) is reeling from her act of violence against Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and doesn’t know whether she is alive or dead; a paranoid and severely injured Villanelle manages to get herself to the hospital for treatment; Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) approaches Eve with an opportunity.”

IS VILLANELLE A BELIEVABLE PSYCHOPATH?

In the meantime, fans can watch Killing Eve season one all over again on the BBC iPlayer now.

There is more good news for fans, season three of Killing Eve has been confirmed and may be here as early as next year.

The third series of Killing Eve will have a brand new showrunner.

Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge served as lead writer and showrunner in season one and stepped down from the role for season two.

She was taken over by Emerald Fennell for season two and now season three will be led by Suzanne Heathcote, best known for her work on Fear the Walking Dead.
