Chris Evans: Virgin Radio host makes surprise admission on show that will upset fans

Chris told listeners he won’t be presenting his breakfast show today because he will be with the BBC. The 53-year-old will miss the show to take part in ‘500 Words’ at Windsor Castle. He said co-host Rachel Horne will be in charge.

Speaking on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show, Chris said at the very end of Thursday’s show: “Rachel’s in charge of tomorrow’s show. We’ll see you Monday, goodbye!

“And Sam will be here.”

A Virgin Radio spokesman said: “Chris will be doing 500 words tomorrow at Windsor Castle, which he spoke about on air.

“It is a best of the guests special and the live elements of the show are with Rachel Horne and early morning breakfast show host Sam Pinkham.”

Chris has made many shock admissions about his life on previous shows.

He once admitted to never using soap.

Chris told listeners: “You don’t need soap. You don’t need soap!

“I used to have a massive skin issue when I was younger and the doctor just said ‘don’t use soap ever again in your life’.

“Never use soap.

“Vassos, you’ve been working with me for 10 years.

“Tell me the truth.

“Has it ever been an issue?”

Vassos said: “I, honestly, until this morning did not know that you didn’t use soap.”

Chris joked: “But you just wondered what the smell was anyhow?”

Vassos quipped: “I suspected.”
