Stranger Things season 3: Mike Wheeler star reveals season is ‘everything' – here's why

Stranger Things has became a huge hit since arriving on Netflix and season three promises to be the biggest and baddest season so far.

It will take place in summer in a twist for the show and it appears the season will continue to provide firsts for fans.

However, with the show being such a big success, it appears the bosses have decided to take the best aspects from the previous two seasons to make a new mega-season.

Empire’s Pilot TV went onto the season three set to speak to the cast about the upcoming season and it appears it cannot be missed.

Mike star Finn revealed: “The first season was more about the adventure aspect and kind of fun, the second season was more about the horror aspect.

“Season three is everything, like the fun of season one and the horror of season two and the Duffers have got better at it, at writing it.

“And we’ve become better actors.”

The suggestion season three is “everything” will delight fans who want the series’s momentum to continue.

What’s more, Will Byers star Noah Schnapp also teased: “People have asked, ‘Does Will get a break this season?’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, sure, for the first two episodes’. And then no one really gets a break.”

Fans can expect a full-throttle season that combines the best from the first two seasons to take the series to a new level.

The topsy-turvy nature of season three has also previously been teased by Francesca Reale, who plays newcomer Heather.

She will benefit from the summer season, as she will become a lifeguard at the Hawkins community pool.

She is set to begin a relationship with fellow lifeguard Billy Hargrove (played by Dacre Montgomery) and has been teasing the storyline could get very dark.

When asked to describe the upcoming season, she revealed to People Now: “Twisty, turny is not a good description but it’s the best I can come up with.

“I was very like ‘Ahhhh [gasps] wait. Calm. Sad. Angry’. I just went through like all these emotions reading [the script].”

She could be at risk as Billy could be set to became a major villain.

Now, with the Mind Flayer set to return for season three, it appears Billy may suffer a similar fate and become the season’s big villain.

Eagle-eyed viewers have noticed that in the season three trailer Billy is looking at a huge black and blooded mark on his arm, symptomatic of a severe infection.

Fans will remember in season two Will became infected with a dangerous virus that was controlled by the Mind Flayer from the Upside Down.

The Mind Flayer was able to manipulate him into doing what he wanted and was able to speak through him.

Stranger Things season three arrives July 4 on Netflix.
