Spotify is down right now for hundreds of users that have reported issues with the popular music streaming service.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has registered a spike in Spotify down errors.
Out of those affected the majority (53 per cent) are having issues trying to stream music on Spotify.
While a third are having trouble accessing the Spotify website and 13 per cent are having issues with Spotify on Sonos.
Users who have tried accessing Spotify on desktop have also reported being greeted with a 502 bad gateway error message.
As the Spotify error outage hit users took to social networking site Twitter to report issues with the service.
One user tweeted: “Spotify web player is currently down”.
Another posted: “@SpotifyStatus Is spotify down right now or is that just the web player?”
One added: “@Spotify is webplayer down?”
And another wrote: “Spotify is down and I’m in crunch time. How can this happen?”
The Spotify Status Twitter page is yet to post about the reported issues users have been experiencing today.
