WHO HAS LEFT LOVE ISLAND 2019 SO FAR?

According to the Daily Star, Love Island 2019 cast members get paid £250 a week.

This is an increase of £50 from the salaries the Love Island 2018 reportedly received.

According to the Metro, this nominal fee is: “To cover rent, bills and other essential costs while they are on the show.”

Though this feels relatively small, the show does give cast members the opportunity to make big money once they are out of the villa.

Ex-Love Islanders like Kem Cetinay have gone into TV presenting, Wes Nelson was able to create a fashion line, while others are able to pay their bills through modelling and social media promotion.

According to The Sun, Love Island 2019 winner Dani Dyer made £1.7 million since leaving the villa, not including the £50,000 she made by winning the show.

According to Metro, season two runners-up Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have made a reported £4.4 million.

This included a £25,000 magazine deal for their wedding in 2018.

“They risk coming out and being trolled on Twitter, their dreams of being a reality star dashed, work dries up and ending up feeling depressed and having issues.”

Despite this, 85,000 people applied to be a part of the 2018 series according to the Daily Mail.
