Melania Trump makes RARE complimentary comment about Agata Kornhauser-Duda

Melania Trump and Agata Kornhauser-Duda of Poland appear to have made somewhat of a friendship.

The First Lady of the United States was moved to make a public statement addressing her joy at having the Polish Prime Minister’s wife to visit.

The rather rare moment took place last night as the two leaders and their wives appeared out front of the White House.

Melania was encourage to speak by her husband Donald Trump, 72.

The US president said: “Well, the first ladies know each other. They get along with each other.

“They are going out to lunch right after this.”

He then said to Melania: “Would you like to say something?”

The First Lady took him up on his offer, taking to the microphone to say: “It is great to have them here again.

“I’m looking forward to talking with Mrs. Duda about children, what they are facing in our country, what they are facing in Poland, as we did the first time. And we will continue to do so.”

It seems the implication is that the two women get along quite well. It can only be imagined what they discussed over their private lunch.

Melania Trump wore an 80s-inspired pastel pink power suit to welcome the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda and his wife.

Agata, on the other hand, wore a black and white dress, with her blonde hair coiffed.

The First Lady of the United States used her platform yesterday to draw attention to her Be Best campaign, which focuses in part on the opioid crisis.

Melania said at the event the initiative was “working with the families and our youth to defeat the stigma and talk about the opioid addiction problem and it’s very important to open up and ask for help.”

The mother-of-one to Barron Trump, 13, added: “I always say love yourself more than you love drugs.”

Melania Trump’s UK visit recently, alongside her husband Donald, caused some controversy.

It has been estimated that the First Lady spent a whopping £12,000 on outfits for the tour.

To land in the UK last Monday, Melania had changed into a navy skirt suit with a white pussy-bow silk blouse.

The Burberry shirt had a time design and cost £650, and she paired this with Christian Louboutin court shoes, costing £495.
