Game of Thrones: Arya Stark’s final journey was sealed in epic clue you missed

Game of Thrones favourite Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) appeared to be one of the main champions of season eight.

The hero managed to kill the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) and thankfully made it out of the Battle for the Iron Throne relatively unharmed.

Following on from the crowning of Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), Arya decided she had desires to see the world and chose to sail “West of Westeros”.

It’s currently up for debate about whether she will find anything or be alive at the end of her voyage, but it appears her move was written in the stars from the very beginning.

When each of the Stark children was young, Ned Stark (Sean Bean) gave them all a Direwolf.

The dog-like animal appeared to be representative of each child’s personality.

Now, one Reddit user has spotted how the fate of each pup matched the fate of its owner.

Wigglar88 wrote: “Lady: Dies as a puppy by the Lannisters, to represent Sansa losing her innocence to the Lannisters.

“Greywind: Killed by crossbows at the Red Wedding, just like Robb and both get decapitated.

“Nymeria: Gets betrayed by the Lannisters and flees, comes back to reject staying with the Starks.

“Summer: Dies in the Three Eyed Raven’s cave, just like Bran Stark ‘dies’.

“Shaggy dog: Killed by the Umbers and brought to the Boltons with Rickon, who is killed by the Boltons.

“Ghost: “Is scarred and battle-worn, but returns to The Wall to serve and live up North, same as Jon.”(sic)

Paying special attention to Nymeria, Arya’s pet disappeared throughout the series, preferring to be alone like her owner.

Furthermore, she always had the desire to explore the world and it seemed her Direwolf was equally as inquisitive as she deserted the Starks at the end.
