Gemma Atkinson, 34, enjoyed a cuddle with her pet pooch Ollie this weekend and took the opportunity to film the sweet moment for her Instagram Story in view of her one million followers. The star, who is expecting her first baby with Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez, 28, relaxed on her duvet with the adorable dog as she said: “Do you know we have to get up at some point Oll?” “You do know that, don’t you?” Gemma then turned around as she was stopped in her tracks by a mysterious noise.
The former Emmerdale star then returned to face the camera as she explained: “That banging is his tail, nothing weird.”
Gemma went on to tell her sleepy dog: “Don’t pretend to be asleep, your tail is wagging.
“Oi, come on, wake up!”
After realising her dog Olly was pretty tired, she smiled and said: “Okay, five more minutes”, as she gently pulled the canine towards her.
Earlier this week, Gemma shared a beauty transformation with her fans on the social media platform.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant told fans she had added “darker shades” to her signature blonde locks and cut a few inches off.
The star admitted her new look was more “low maintenance” and would allow her to keep up with her roots.
Gemma first shared a picture of herself smiling for the camera with her hair draped over a pink hoodie.
Later, the radio host shared a rear-view of her refreshed style, giving her followers a first look at the finished result.
The pregnant star added the caption: “Decided on some darker shades through my blondes today.
“Going for more low maintenance when it comes to my root upkeep!

Gemma recently embarked on maternity leave to prepare for her new arrival with professional dancer beau Gorka.
She marked the occasion by sharing a throwback photo of herself swimming in an outdoor pool in the sunshine and joked about wanting to go back to the holiday destination to enjoy her time off.
The actress commented on the snap: “Officially on maternity leave!
“Love to say I’ll be doing the above but the reality is very different [crying with laughter emoji].”
Gemma and Gorka announced their exciting pregnancy news on Instagram back in February and the baby is believed to be due in July.
