Galaxy S10 deal offers 'lowest price' for Samsung flagship – just watch out for the catch

The Galaxy S10 is, without doubt, one of the finest smartphones of 2019.

Samsung’s all-new flagship was released earlier this year and offers fans a glorious 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED curved screen which covers almost the entire front of the device.

Other features include a fast processor, triple rear camera and an embedded fingerprint scanner under the display.

You can also now charge other devices using the Galaxy S10’s PowerShare function and there’s now the option to include a huge 512GB of internal storage.

It’s all impressive stuff and express.co.uk has been left impressed by this device with our recent S10 review, saying: “There’s no question that Galaxy S10+ is one of the best phones Samsung has ever made.

“It looks fabulous, has that incredible triple rear camera, good battery life and extras such as the ability to refill other devices wirelessly.

“The screen is also one of the greatest we’ve ever seen and is guaranteed to make your content look better than ever.”

Now there’s a deal which adds to the appeal of the Galaxy S10 with Virgin Media currently selling this phone for just £28 per month.

This, they say, is the ‘lowest monthly price with no upfront fee’.

The offer includes 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data per month.

If that doesn’t sound enough then there are other options from Virgin which include 3GB of data for £31 or 40GB for £35.

These are all very tempting contracts but there is a small catch that’s worth bearing in mind.

To get this low monthly price you’ll need to sign up to a 36 month contract which means you’ll need to keep the S10 for at least three years.

If you don’t mind holding on to the device for that long then these deals are certainly worth a look but just make sure you are happy with that length of time before signing the contract.

The news of these deals come as Samsung has just released its new Galaxy S10 5G phone.

This top-end phone can now access superfast internet speeds with EE recently switching on this ultimate network.

Along with being able to download data at over 200Mbps the S10 5G also features a bigger 6.7-inch screen that offers the resolution of 1440×3040 and the density of 502-pixels-per-inch.

Spin the S10 5G around and there’s also a whopping four cameras rather than the three snappers you’ll find on the standard S10 or S10+.

The extra camera is a time-of-flight sensor that is used for measuring depth.

This allows the S10 5G to deliver more accurate bokeh effects overall, such as in portrait mode shots for example.

Galaxy S10 5G also comes with a humungous 4,500mAh battery that should deliver all-day life for owners.

It’s on sale now and costs £1,099.
