Love Island 2019 recap: What happened on Love Island last night?

Love Island 2019 is now on day four and some of the couples are getting closer while some are moving apart. Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart had a kiss in bed, while Joe Garratt pushed Lucie Donlan further away. ITV 2 viewers looking for a recap of what happened on Love Island last night can read on for all the romance, rejections and really cheesy flirting from day four.

What happened on Love Island last night?

Tommy Fury and Joe continued to fight for the attention of Lucie.

When Tommy wasn’t telling Curtis about his love of Hannah Montana, he was telling him how interested he was in Lucie.

Joe tried to have a Hannah Montana moment of his own as he attempted to get the best of both worlds.

He wanted to criticise Lucie for flirting with him and Tommy….whilst flirting with her and Amber Gill.

HOW ARE THE LOVE ISLAND 2019 CAST?

Amber, of course, was having none of it, joking that she was “second best again.”

Also on his top flirt game was Anton Danyluk, who set his sights on Anna Vakili, despite her being in a couple with Sherif Lanre.

He called this mission ‘Operation AA’ (Anton-Anna), but his flirting skills were hardly A+.

Luckily, Amber was on hand to help him on his mission to get the girl, though Anna revealed to her she would not kiss Anton.

Meanwhile, Curtis and air hostess Amy were flying high as they shared a kiss in bed and in the ‘snug’.

The musical theatre fan was singing Curtis’ praises to Lucie later, suggesting they are currently the couple to beat.

At the very least, Curtis received the ultimate Love Island 2019 praise as Lucie called him a ‘bev’.

Sherif was not best-pleased with Anton’s operation but has decided to play it cool.

However, he may be learning that by playing it too cool, the spark between him and Anna may grow cold as she complained that she can never find him in the villa.

HOW TO WATCH LOVE ISLAND IN THE USA

Sherif later told Anton to back off, which he did by telling him he would never tell him to back off.

Just as things seemed to settle down, producers shook things up with the addition of a new girl.

As the cast gathered in the evening, Instagram influencer Molly-Mae was waiting for one of the boys in the hot tub.

The public decided that Molly-Mae’s first date would be with Tommy, with the Hannah Montana fan having to take ‘The Climb’ up to the hideaway hot tub.

Will Tyson come into the date like a Wrecking Ball? Tune in tonight to find out.

Love Island 2019 airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
