Whether hoping to lose a couple of pounds or transform their whole lifestyle, weight loss is something on the minds of many. Speaking to Express.co.uk, Jessica Ennis-Hill explained the best way to kick start the weight loss transformation and to stay fit and healthy. As she readjusted her own lifestyle after retiring as a professional athlete, Jessica learned different ways of staying healthy and how exercise can help any dieter slim down. Although slimmers have many different reasons for wanting to transform their lives, following these tips can help them stay on track.

Since retiring, the mum-of-two had to give her overhaul her diet and fitness plan when her training routine changed.

Jessica revealed the importance of fitting in regular exercise when trying to lose weight.

She told Express.co.uk: “I think absolutely why not just do some exercise and find a way that suits you to exercise and stay fit.

“Physically it’s going to help, mentally it’ll help and give you time to switch off and stay fit.”

When it comes to starting the weight loss journey, finding an exercise programme which works will for them will help slimmers stay on track.

Many people may struggle to fit exercise into their busy schedules, but they do not need to spend a lot of time being active to notice a change, Jessica revealed.

“It’s about whatever level you are at you find something that works for you,” she said.

“If you are not someone who exercises all the time you should be able to find something that works.

“Once you become more confident you can build up to intermediate or advance. Do what you are comfortable with.”

Previously training two times a day, Jessica changed her fitness programme and eating habits after she retired as an athlete.

Jessica, who created fitness app, Jennis, revealed any fitness level can start to lose weight and improve their fitness level with regular exercise.

When trying to shape up, finding a workout plan which can be done anywhere quickly can be the key to success.

Jessica told Express.co.uk: “Finding time to do some form of exercise and something you are happy doing is so beneficial.

“It’s a journey that we can all go on if you are just a man or woman and life it hectic.

“If you want to find a way to keep exercising which is really efficient but quick way I think those workouts will help with that whatever level you are at, beginner, intermediate or advance.”

Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill will launch her new fitness app and website Jennis on 10th June, available globally for £9.99 a month.

Exercise can be used to help people shape up, and some celebrities have admitted how being active helped them shape up.
