18:00 UPDATE: James Maddison talks underway

Manchester United have made contact with representatives of James Maddison over a shock move to Old Trafford, according to reports.

But the Daily Record claim the Leicester star is unsure of making the switch because of concerns over a lack of playing time and the fact they are not in the Champions League.

The 22-year-old is hot property after an encouraging breakthrough season in the Premier League having moved to the King Power from Norwich last summer.

It is claimed Leicester will demand around £60million for the attacking midfielder.

17:45 UPDATE: Kalidou Koulibaly latest

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has already chosen his first signing as Juventus manager.

That’s the claim from Italian website Tuttosport, who claim Sarri wants £90million-rated Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly in Turin.

The 60-year-old is reportedly in Italy holding talks with Juventus officials about replacing Massimiliano Allegri.

And he’s expected to leave Stamford Bridge after 12 months – despite leading the club to a third-place finish and Europa League glory.

17:30 UPDATE: Youssef En-Nesyri to Arsenal

Arsenal have submitted a formal offer for Leganes striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

That’s according to Moroccan publication Assahifa Al Ousbouia, who claim the Morocco international is currently studying several offers.

En-Nesyri, 22, scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 34 appearances last season although none came against La Liga’s top four.

Assahifa Al Ousbouia say Arsenal’s management have made a ‘formal’ contract offer and are awaiting his response.

17:15 UPDATE: Liverpool player-plus-cash deal

Werder Bremen are not interested in selling highly-rated goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka, according to the club’s sporting director Frank Baumann.

Liverpool and Juventus were both linked with the 27-year-old, who was nominated for Czech Footballer of the Year this season.

The newly-crowned European champions were supposedly considering a player-plus-cash deal involving Loris Karius.

However, Bremen chief Baumann says it’s not happening.

“We plan with Pavlenka for the new season,” he told Weser-Kurier. “There is no offer from Juventus or Liverpool for Jiri Pavlenka.”

17:00 UPDATE: Memphis Depay clue

Former Manchester United Memphis Depay could soon be joining Liverpool.

That’s if the latest transfer conspiracy is too be believed.

Reports earlier this year suggested Liverpool were looking to sign Depay, who scored and provided 10 assists for Lyon this season.

But Jurgen Klopp distanced the club from those reports.

However, the rumour mill could again be in full swing after some eagle-eyed supporters noticed something from Georginio Wijnaldum’s latest Instagram post.

The Dutchman is pictured with the Champions League trophy on the plane home alongside international team-mate Virgil van Dijk.

And on the table in front of the pair was a copy of Depay’s autobiography.
