Love Island 2019 has been eagerly anticipated by viewers ahead of its triumphant return to our screens. The show airs tonight (Monday, June 3) on ITV2 but when does it start? Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s episode start time. 

What time does Love Island start tonight? 

Love Island series five will be begin tonight 9pm on ITV2. 

ITV has announced that the opening night will see 12 new contestants heading to the villa. 

Hoping to find love, the new cast will be meeting each other and eyeing up their potential competition in the opening episode. 

Fans are also expecting to see the cast paired up for the first time around the iconic fire pit. 

LOVE ISLAND 2019 CAST INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS REVEALED

This episode of Love Island will run for one hour and 35 minutes until 10.35pm. 

Episodes will be running at the same time for the rest of the week until Friday. 

The series will then have its weekly break on Saturday before starting up again on Sunday. 

Soon after it has aired on ITV2, viewers will be able to watch it on the channel’s streaming service ITV Hub. 

Host Caroline Flack will be back for another series joined by narrator Iain Stirling. 

WHERE IS LOVE ISLAND FILMED?

ITV has already announced the 2019 cast who will be entering the villa last week, including five girls and seven boys. 

However, fans will be excited to learn that its rumoured the first twist of the series will be sooner than they might think. 

Alongside the 12 contestants announced, it’s thought that two new contestants will be joining within the first few days. 

The singletons will be competing against each other for the chance to win a cash prize at the end.

Who is in the cast of Love Island 2019? 

The line-up features a number of Instagram-famous names on the list, including Lucie Donlan and Anna Vakili. 

As well as this, some celebrity relations are also set to join the villa including boxer Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy Fury and Strictly Come Dancing dancer AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis Pritchard. 

Viewers will have to tune in at 9pm to see how the cast get along and deal with the inevitable twists and turns.
