Klay Thompson injury: Warriors star LIMPS off in clear pain in NBA Finals Game 2

It has been a challenging Game 2 for the Warriors with several players dealing with issues.

Steph Curry is reportedly coping with an illness, Andre Iguodala is carrying an injury and Kevon Looney has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a left chest contusion.

And now Thompson has seemingly joined that long list of issues for the Warriors.

After a rather innocuous play midway through the fourth quarter, Thompson limped back to halfcourt screaming at the Warriors bench to call a timeout.

He sluggishly limped back to the bench grabbing his left leg, dropping his head as he took a seat.

The injury may have occurred earlier in the quarter when he attempted to draw a foul on a three, landing awkwardly with his legs wide apart.

He was seen throughout the quarter clutching at his leg, but it’s clear the injury got progressively worse before he took himself out of the game.

The 29-year-old then headed back to the locker room to receive further treatment.

And it was later announced that Thompson was suffering with left hamstring tightness, keeping him from returning for the remainder of the game.

Despite the issues the Warriors have had to contend with in Game 2, they were up by eight with little over three minutes in the game.

As well as the roster playing through injury and illness, they’re also battling without Kevin Durant, who is yet to return from a calf strain.
