OnePlus 7 update – This flagship just received a radical speed boost

OnePlus 7 Pro released earlier this month and is the most premium version of the new smartphone series.

As is tradition with the firm, the 7 Pro is powered by some of the fastest internals available in the Android world and delivers fluid software, too.

The 7 Pro is also the biggest phone OnePlus has ever made, touting a magnificent 6.67-inch display with the resolution of 1440×3120 and the density of 515-pixels-per-inch.

The best feature about the Chinese device’s panel though is by far its refresh rate that is slightly higher than most other smartphones on the market.

This results in a smoother experience when navigating across OnePlus’ Oxygen OS skin and when using apps that support the increased rate.

OnePlus 7 Pro comes with rapid internals in the form of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855.

The chipset is accompanied by an Adreno 640 GPU and up to 12GB of RAM depending on the variant chosen.

While the OnePlus 7 Pro already delivers arguably the quickest performance of any Android phone on the market, the hardware has just received a dramatic speed boost.

That is because today the Chinese tech giant’s OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has released and is now available to purchase through EE.

The UK network launched its next generation of mobile internet today in the cities of London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast, Birmingham and Manchester.

Currently, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is the only device customers can pick up if they want to experience the turbocharged speeds.

As the name suggests, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G comes with all the same great features present in the regular OnePlus 7 Pro but touts the ability to deliver even faster online performance.

The hardware certainly represents a huge speed boost for the firm’s new 7 series of handsets.

It is worth noting while the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G touts the same size battery as the regular 7 Pro, the life offered is expected to be less if users are utilising 5G.

OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is available through a number of different contracts from EE.

The most affordable 24-month plan comes in at £59 per month and comes with 10GB of data allowance.

However, this rises to as high as £120 a month for a whopping 120GB of data.
