Kevin Durant: Warriors head coach delivers DEVASTATING injury update for NBA Finals

Golden State enter the NBA Finals are the favourites, but they’ll have to cope without arguably their best player.

Durant still hasn’t completed a full practice with the team since suffering a calf strain in Game 5 against the Houston Rockets.

That will no doubt come as a boost to the Raptors, who are competing in their first NBA Finals.

Durant has travelled with the team for the opening two games of the NBA Finals in Toronto.

He was officially ruled out of Game 1 earlier this week.

But there is almost certainly no chance the 30-year-old will play in Game 2 either.

When asked whether he thought there was a chance of Durant getting a full practice in Toronto, Kerr described it as a “long shot”.

And it seems the Warriors are still unsure when exactly Durant could potentially return.

“He was on the court yesterday and I believe he was on the court this morning as well,” he added.

“He’s in the training room, getting all kinds of treatment.

“The next step would be to practice with the team but we don’t know when that’s going to be.

“He’ll continue with the individual workouts, ramping that up as our training staff sees fit.”
