Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd deal practically done, Chelsea agreement, Arsenal, Liverpool

08:55 UPDATE: Man Utd to land De Ligt?

Man Utd have told Ajax they are willing to blow Barcelona out of the water regarding a possible transfer for Matthijs de Ligt.

Ajax have promised De Ligt he can move wherever he wants, insisting they will not entertain a bidding war.

Yet TV3 claim United are ready to blow Barcelona out of the water by paying ANYTHING for the teenager.

Price will supposedly be no barrier when it comes to a transfer.

And that will be a blow to Barcelona, who are unable to compete with United when it comes to a financial dogfight.

08:30 UPDATE: Man Utd exit ‘practically done’

Paul Pogba’s move from Manchester United to Real Madrid is practically done, Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda claims.

Pogba is practically done,” he said. “The first to appear will be Hazard and the next will be Pogba.

“He has agreed to lower his Manchester United salary: from £13m net per year to £10m.

“Adidas is pressing a lot because he is one of the two franchise players of the brand.”

08:05 UPDATE: Chelsea agree Hazard deal

Chelsea have agreed a £115m transfer fee with Real Madrid for Eden Hazard.

The Sun say Real are confident of landing the Belgium international, who will earn around £400,000-a-week at the Bernabeu.

Chelsea will receive £100m with a possible £15m in add-ons.

The Sun add that Blues owner Roman Abramovich ordered the sale as opposed to losing Hazard for free next summer.

07:40 UPDATE: De Ligt update

Liverpool and Manchester City ARE interested in signing Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt, according to transfer expert Duncan Castles.

“We should factor in here that Manchester United are not the only Premier League club that Mino Raiola will try and sell the player to,” he said on The Transfer Window podcast.

“There has been talk of Liverpool’s interest which I think is correct.

“Although I don’t think there need is as great, certainly not as great as Manchester United.

“What I do know is that Manchester City have pursued De Ligt for a long time.

“I know that, several months ago, before Barcelona went in strong for De Ligt, that people at Ajax felt City was his most likely destination.”

07:15 UPDATE: Arsenal plan

Arsenal boss Unai Emery is ready to battle it out with Manchester United for Saint-Etienne star William Saliba.

And French publication Le 10 Sport say the Gunners lead the race to sign the defender this summer.

Saint-Etienne only recently tied down the youngster to a new deal which keeps him at the club until 2023, but are still open to a transfer for the right price.

It is believed a fee of around €30million (£26m) would be enough to allow talks to take place.
