Melania Trump will join her husband Donald Trump on his official state visit to Great Britain next week. The  US President and his First Lady will arrive in the UK on June 3 and stay until June 5. They have a packed schedule of official events while there, this is what they will get up to.

Melanie Trump’s full UK schedule revealed.

Day One – June 3

Melania and President Trump’s trip will kick off with a royal welcome at Buckingham Palace.

They will be greeted with a Guard of Honour in the garden and royal gun salutes will be fired in Green Park.

Then the pair will take lunch with the Queen before receiving a private tour of the royal picture gallery.

In the afternoon they will head to Westminster Abbey with the Queen’s son Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.

At Westminster Abbey Melania will accompany her husband as he follows in the footsteps of former US presidents and lays a wreath at the grave of the Unknown Warrior.

The Trumps will then meet Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall for tea at Clarence House.

The day will be rounded off with an exclusive banquet at Buckingham Palace held in their honour.

Senior UK politicians are expected to attend the dinner where Donald and Theresa May are likely to give speeches.

Day Two – June 4

The pair will begin their day by hosting a breakfast for prominent UK and US business leaders at St James’s Palace.

At lunchtime, they will head to Downing Street for bilateral talks with Prime Minister Theresa May.

There will be a joint press conference after the talks.

That evening Melania and President Trump will host a dinner at Winfield House in Regent’s Park.

This is the official residence of the US ambassador to the UK.

Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall will attend the dinner on behalf of the Queen.

Day Three – June 5

The final day of their UK visit will be dedicated to D-Day commemorations.

Melanie and President Trump will accompany the Queen and Prince Charles to an official D-Day event in Portsmouth.

The event will honour the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings and which be attended by more than 300 veterans.
