The first trailer was dropped in April this year by Lifetime and the anticipation has been building ever since. The new film will focus on the Royal Wedding and the drama surrounding the ceremony including who will be walking Meghan down the aisle.
Along with the wedding ceremony, audiences will also see how Meghan makes the big move from the US to the UK and ingratiates herself with the Royal Family and adjusts to her new life.
Speaking about taking on the role, actress Tiffany Smith – who plays Meghan Markle – said she had “amazing respect” for her real-life counterpart.
Smith admitted to the BUILD Series: “Even getting to play a little part of her life has been an amazing experience for me.”
The actress, who looks remarkably like the Duchess of Sussex, said the comparisons were nothing new with her friends previously telling her how much she looked like Markle’s Suits character Rachel Zane.

Supernatural actress Smith takes on the role of the iconic Duchess.
She has also starred in VICE, Jane the Virgin and serves as a host on web series Geeking Out.
