Will Virat Kohli’s stunning wife Anushka Sharma be at World Cup? She is HELPING the team

India cricket captain Kohli has praised his wife Anushka for helping him to become more responsible.

Marriage has helped him to put things into perspective, and has improved his captaincy of the team.

The pair got married in Tuscany in December 2017, and have since become one of India’s most adored couples.

Anushka will be in the UK to support her partner throughout the cricket World Cup.

“Virat is captaining India for the first time in a 50-over World Cup tournament and Anushka wants to be there to root for him and see him lift the World Cup,” a source told the Times of India.

“While Anushka will be traveling to England to be a perfect pillar of strength to Virat, she might not be going to the stadium with him.

“In fact, she wants to go separately to watch the matches and cheer the loudest for Virat.

“When the wives of the cricketers travel on tours, they usually travel on the same team bus. This time it seems Anushka, on match days, would be hiring her own car and bearing all costs to visit the stadium separately.

“They have discussed the huge media attention that is bound to be there for the World Cup and both want to keep all distractions at bay during the World Cup which Virat definitely wants to try and win for India.

“Both feel the lesser the distraction on match days, the more the mind will only focus on the match.”

Kohli opened up on how his cricket life has changed since getting married at the captains’ media day in London, ahead of the World Cup.

“You become more responsible [after marriage]. It’s very different from the responsibility you had in your life,” he said. “You start understanding things much better and you start putting things into perspective a lot more.

“I have become a lot more responsible. That helps you in captaincy as well. It’s only improved my captaincy and me as a human being and as a player.”
