Nadal will get his first experience of the newly renovated Court Philippe Chatrier, the stadium where he has lifted the Coupe des Mousquetaires an astonishing 11 times.
But the Spaniard doesn’t expect there to be a big difference once the match gets underway.
“I don’t see a difference in terms of game experience,” said Nadal.
“I think the wind is going the same way, and the feeling on the court is exactly the same.
“It looks a little bit different, from behind the royal box. For me, that’s the main difference.”
