Aston Villa are looking to sign Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent, according to the Sun.

Kent has been on loan at Rangers this season and Steve Gerrard wants him back for another year.

But his hopes are fading with Villa ready to pay £10m to land him on a permanent deal.

Fulham and Huddersfield have also been linked, but Villa may be able to offer him Premier League football.

08.10 UPDATE: New defender target

Manchester United have reportedly turned their attention to Ruben Dias after baulking at Napoli’s asking price for Kalidou Koulibaly.

United want to sign a new centre-back this season, and the Mirror report they are now eyeing a deal for Benfica star Dias.

However he won’t be cheap after Lyon rejected £30m for him 12 months.

It is claimed he could now be valued at around £60m.

8.00 UPDATE: Jadon Sancho going nowhere

Jadon Sancho is STAYING at Borussia Dortmund next season, according to their CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke.

Sancho has impressed in the Bundesliga and is on Manchester United’s radar.

“It can be assumed that Jadon will not play more than ten years at BVB,” Hans-Joachim Watzke told Bild. “But we have clear agreements about the present.

“Jadon is not on the market and plays next season guaranteed at Borussia Dortmund.”

07.30 UPDATE Chelsea’s Kovacic battle

Chelsea face a battle on their hands if they want to keep Mateo Kovacic at Stamford Bridge at the end of his loan spell from Real Madrid.

The Blues could keep the Croatian international even though they have got a transfer embargo hanging over them as he is already at the club but Inter Milan are keen.

Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Kovaci on another loan deal but much will depend on who the manager is after next week’s Europa League final.

Maurizio Sarri is expected to leave following a difficult first season at the club.

Juventus are ready to offer Manchester United Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro in a bid to steal a march on Real Madrid in the race to land Paul Pogba – Express Sport can reveal.

The controversial French midfielder is set to quit Old Trafford for a second time this summer after struggling for much of last season.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is ready to match United’s £120 million valuation of the World Cup winner but he might need to offload Gareth Bale before he can move.

That could open the door for Juventus who despite struggling to find that kind of money do have one major advantage.

Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Argentinean striker Dybala, 25, and Brazilian left wing back Sandro, 28, a long-time target of Chelsea.

07.00 UPDATE: Manchester United launch De Ligt bid

Manchester United have made a £70m bid to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking at a summer revamp during the transfer market and is now eyeing the Ajax sensation as a key part of that.

The Mirror report that United are ready to hand De Ligt wages of £350,000-a-week wage and a huge f’ixer’s fee’ for the agent.

United have also been linked with Kalidou Koulibaly, Milan Skriniar and Harry Maguire but have now made their move for the teenage Holland star.

Real Madrid want Virgil van Dijk to replace Sergio Ramos, according to Marca.

Van Dijk has been sensational for Liverpool this term after sealing a £75m deal last year.

But Madrid are said to be keen on a move although Liverpool are likely to resit any bids.

The Reds are in their second Champions League final in a row next week and will be hoping to beat Tottenham.

06.30 UPDATE: Hazard deal deadline

Eden Hazard is hoping to seal his move to Real Madrid by June 4.

Hazard is desperate to quit Chelsea and has told them to sort a move out in the coming weeks.

Chelsea play the Europa League on Wednesday and Hazard wants his future sorted within a week of the match.

Madrid have made bids for Hazard but are yet to agree a fee for the Belgium star.
