Roger Federer vs Lorenzo Sonego TV channel: How to watch French Open match on TV

Federer is playing at Roland Garros for the first time since 2015 and it is the tenth anniversary of his first title.

It is also 20 years since he made his first appearance at the tournament and the Swiss says he is arriving with no expectations.

He said: “I played here for many years. I started here at 20. I won here 10 years ago.

“It has been one of the greatest moments in my life, so I don’t know what to expect as far as the results are concerned.

“It’s a bit like in Australia in 2017. I had no expectations. I’m just happy to be back in good health.

“Up ’till now I would say my preparation has gone well. In Madrid, my body reacted well to a surface I haven’t played for many years.

“So today I took a day off, because my team felt I didn’t have anything more to prove in training.”

This is the first meeting between Federer and Lorenzo.
