New iPhone 11 may not be the only Apple smartphone set for a major upgrade

New iPhone 11 is expected to succeed the iPhone Xs and Xs Max before 2019 is over; Apple has a tradition of unveiling its newest handsets in the month of September.

Rumours discussing the potential new features the iPhone 11 could bring to the table started as early as January when renowned leaker Steve H.McFly partnered with Digit. In to deliver the first claimed renders of Apple’s new premium smartphone.

The hardware was shown with an upgraded camera module on its rear that housed three sensors – more recent murmurings have insisted the device could feature a standard, ultra wide-angle and telephoto lens.

If accurate, the Cupertino-based firm could be set to exponentially increase the diversity of the iPhone’s camera system.

Numerous Android devices, such as the OnePlus 7 Pro, Huawei P30 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9 already boast a similar photography offering that certainly incites user experimentation.

On its front, leaks have suggested Apple’s new iPhone 11 will sport a similar aesthetic thanks to an all-screen design with a signature notch at the top to house the firm’s advanced Face ID system.

While Apple’s next flagship has been rumoured to boast a huge camera improvement, it seems the anticipated successor to the tech powerhouse’s cheaper iPhone XR device could too, according to new renders.

Once again, notable tipster Steve H.McFly, collaborating with Pricebaba this time, is responsible for the fresh images.

The iPhone XR successor was showcased in similar blue, yellow, white and red colours as is already available for the current cheaper handset.

Moreover, the front of the product was also highlighted to be very reminiscent of the current iPhone XR thanks to the slightly thicker borders surrounding its display.

OnLeaks has declared the next iPhone XR will come with the same 6.1-inch LCD display as its predecessor.

The rear of the hardware was where the biggest alteration was showcased; the handset was exhibited with a similar square-shaped camera module as appeared in renders of the new iPhone 11.

However, instead of arriving with three cameras on its rear, the iPhone XR successor was displayed with only two lenses.

It has been tipped the hardware will come with a primary and telephoto shooter and not the ultra wide-angle module rumoured for the more premium iPhone 11.

This means the next-generation of iPhone XR could feature an improved zoom and the ability to apply portrait mode effects on objects, and not just humans.

No rumours or leaks surrounding Apple’s 2019 iPhone models have discussed pricing.

However, it is expected such details will be announced by the tech giant later this year.
