Melania Trump today wore a Calvin Klein shirt dress which costs £2,615.

She joined her husband Donald Trump, 72, on their way to Japan.

Website Matches said of the dress: “Raf Simons’s journey through Americana during his time at Calvin Klein 205W39NYC brings us this white shirtdress which is adorned with an eclectic mix of postcards depicting the West.

“Crafted in Italy from smooth silk, it’s cut fitted across the bust, then falls to a fluid skirt that is finished with discreet side seam pockets.”

She added navy blue Christian Louboutin heels to the look.

The shoes are the Agneska Scallop Leather Red Sole Pumps, which cost £581.63 from Neiman Marcus.

Melania’s dress showed her passion for the country she has become a citizen of.

The mum-of-one, originally from Slovenia, sported postcards from the sunny beaches of the West Coast on her frock.

The First Lady and her husband will be in Japan for four days. They are there as the guests of the new Emperor Naruhito, who ascended to the role on 1 May.

Yesterday Melania Trump wore a sombre all black look to visit the graveside of fallen soldiers.

Melania and Donald were spotted at the Arlington National Cemetery ahead of Memorial Day during the “Flags-In” ceremony.

The annual event sees the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, “The Old Guard,” place American flags at every gravesite at Arlington National Cemetery.

It honours those who have passed away in service.

Donald, his wife Melania and his daughter Ivanka are set to visit the UK from 3 June.

It was recently revealed that Melania Trump gave Barron an anti-ageing treatment

The former-model told in a throwback interview how she gave her son, now 13, a treatment every night after his bath.

Barron, who was 7 at the time, was treated a product from the “Melania Skin Care Collection”, which contained caviar.

The future First Lady revealed she gave her son Barron, who at the time was only 7 years old, her Caviar Complex C6 moisturiser every night after his bath.

Melania was a successful model, posing for Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and GQ.

Her skills aren’t confined to print, and she appeared in a commercial for Aflac, an American insurance company, in 2005.

Melania’s parents are Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs, and the couple live together in Washington.

She has one sister, Ines, who is reported to live in New York and work as an artist.

Charity

On May 7 2018, Melania launched her flagship campaign as First Lady, BE BEST, which The White House describes as “an awareness campaign focused entirely around the well-being of children”.

There are three main strands to the initiative: well-being, social media, and opioid abuse.
