Friends: Ross Geller season 8 T-shirt REVEALS hidden meaning and fans can’t get over it

Looking back at season eight of Friends, the fan has flagged up the attention to detail that made the show such a success.

Fans are spotting little details more after the show was placed on Netflix last month.

In the episode The One With The Tea Leaves, Ross (played by David Schwimmer) wears a grey T-shirt that includes a reference to friends in a different language.

The T-shirt has a blue circle in the middle of the chest and within it is a white symbol that looks like two hands joined together.

Now, the Reddit fan moodparkour, has revealed the sign means friends in sign language.

Other fans were shocked and humoured by the explanation and replied to the post.

One fan replied: “That’s some wholesome s**t.”

Another added: “Thats pretty cool, and something actually new I haven’t heard before about the show.”

A third fan praised the discovery: “You always see these ’10 things you never knew about friends!’ lists on s****y clickbait websites that’s just the same stuff any fan would know! This is actually a new thing I’ve not heard before!”

It seems the show wanted to spread the message about friendship in as many ways as possible.

What’s more, Friends costume designer Debra McGuire has previously spoken about the importance of the costumes on the show.

About Ross’s leather pants in season five, she told Metro.co.uk: “We had to shoot that a thousand times, he had to do it over and over again.

“We do scenes multiple times on a sitcom, but we knew when we did that scene that it was going to be complicated with him shimmying in and out.

“He was a good sport none the less because it was extremely difficult.”

Meanwhile, fans have also spotted a mistake from season eight involving Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox).

In season eight episode The One With The Secret Closet a scene occurs in which Chandler speculates with Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) about what could be in his and Monica’s bathroom.

Chandler is suspicious of what she is hiding in there and even suggests she is hiding her ex, Richard Burke (Tom Selleck) in there.

Including a screenshot from that episode alongside a screenshot from earlier seasons, fans show how the doorknob to the closet has mysteriously moved.

In the season eight scenes, the doorknob is on the right-hand side of the door of the green door, but it is not there in early seasons.

The position is reversed, but the whole set did appear to be different so fans can forgive bosses.

Friends is available on Netflix.
