James Jordan: ‘I am disappointed’ Dancing On Ice star slams Buckingham Palace trip

Dancing On Ice winner James Jordan, 41, and his wife Ola Jordan, 36, took a trip to Buckingham Palace for the annual Never Forgotten Association’s garden party. The married couple joined over 3,000 guests from 152 military organisations, charities and care homes who help support wounded service and ex-service men and women from the Armed Forces. James took to Instagram to tell his 160,000 followers he didn’t realise the event would be so busy. On his story, he said to the camera: “So, we are at Buckingham Palace and it’s a beautiful day.

“We are in the gardens with a lovely cup of tea and all that… But I am slightly disappointed.”

He then turned to his wife Ola and said: “I don’t know about you Ola but I didn’t realise there was going to be so many people here.”

Seeming baffled by his remark, Ola responded: “Did you think it was just going to be us?”

James replied: “I thought it was going to be us. Look at how many people there are.”

Elsewhere, Ola also took to her Instagram story to give her 220,000 followers an insight into her day.

She shared a picture of her and spouse in their smart attire on the grounds of the iconic London venue.

James opted for a navy suit with a striped tie while Ola opted for a summery orange dress adorned in flowers.

The dancer also took a selfie showcasing her radiant skin with a flower filter over her face.

Earlier this week, James and Ola enjoyed a night out at their pal Lizzie Cundy’s book launch.

James shared a picture of him and his wife cosying up as they posed on the red carpet.

The Dancing On Ice winner shared the picture with the caption: “First proper night out with @olajordan since my surgery.

“Good luck to our friend and fellow client of @vickiewhitemgmnt, @lizziecundy.

“Can’t wait to read her book as she literally knows everyone.”

Many of his fans flocked to his page to comment including Dancing On Ice skater Alex Murphy, 28, who wrote: “Such a Beautiful couple.”

Singer Keith Duffy, 44, also penned: “Hope you’re healing well buddy.”

Lizzie, 49, commented: “Thank you for coming! Enjoy the book.”
