Hatton Garden: ‘Disgusting’ Viewers outraged by Kenny Collins’ blunder as show concludes

Hatton Garden came to a dramatic conclusion on ITV tonight as the surveillance team closed in on the gang members.

The final instalment of this four-part drama showed the gang members fighting amongst themselves over who should receive a cut of the takings as the police try to build a case.

At the beginning of the show, the getaway driver, Kenny Collins (played by Alex Norton) can be seen driving his dog around but instead of walking the dog Kenny leaves him inside while he gets a coffee.

Viewers watching the ITV drama were outraged by his blunder and took to Twitter to comment.

One commented: “Maybe it’s the VN in me but the biggest thing that’s p****d me off while watching #HattonGarden on @ITV so far is the fact that k**b keeps leaving his dog locked in the car while he goes for coffee!!! So uneducated and disgusting to be promoted like this!!!”

“Worst part of the #HattonGarden job is Kenny leaving his dog in the car when he gets his coffee,” another tweeted.

At one point Kenny opens the door to let the dog get some fresh air but stays in the car himself, picking up on this one viewer joked: “Novel way of walking the dog sit in car and throw a ball #hattongarden.”

However, other viewers were quick to praise the show and one said: “Really enjoyed #HattonGarden on @ITV this week a true story well told.”

Another fan added: “Absolutely loving #HattonGarden, excellent crime drama serious by @ITV.”

“Oh oh here we go. Conclusion of #HattonGarden #excitedmuch,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, viewers spotted a major flaw in the robbers’ plan in last night’s episode.

During the third part of the instalment fans watched as the gang hid their loot in wheelie bins overnight.

Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to comment on this unbelievable part of their plan.

One viewer commented: “They superglued the bins shut in real life. There are so many errors in this!”

“Can’t believe they had the ball to leave in the bins behind the house. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep at night knowing it was there,” another remarked.

A third viewer said: “Think I might start looking in bins when I’m out walking dogs in future.”

“Can’t believe all that booty was left in wheelie bins overnight,” tweeted a fourth.

Another wrote: “Surely one of the neighbours looking out of them windows would have seen the four blokes twice turning up and looking in the wheelie bins and sussed out there’s something in there?”(sic)

One more exclaimed: “You’d think they’d put a bag of rubbish on top of the money and jewellery.”

Hatton Garden is available to catch up now on ITV Hub.
